Richard A. Kos, CFA, CAIA
Mr.
Kos has thirty years of experience in the institutional investment
management business. Mr. Kos spent eight years on Wall Street as a Vice
President at Salomon Brothers and Bear Stearns and President of
Chapdelaine Pension Services Group. Previously, he was a member of the
Managing Committee at Frank Russell Company where he spent nine years
advising global pension clients on global funds and brokerage issues.
He was part of Russell’s Global Funds design initiative and built
Russell’s highly successful transition management and commission
recapture businesses. He is a former member of the Securities Industry
Association’s Institutional Brokerage Committee and has met with the SEC
on policy issues.
Mr. Kos was awarded the Chartered Financial
Analyst designation in 1989 and the Chartered Alternative Investment
Analyst designation in 2010. He received his BS in Finance from the
University of Connecticut. He has been licensed as a Registered
Investment Adviser, Registered General Securities Principal, Options
Principal and an Associated Person with the National Futures
Association. His work and research have been cited in Pensions &
Investments, Traders Magazine, the Japanese Ministry of Finance Journal
and other industry publications including the Association for Investment
Management Research.
